I am concerned as my blue healer lost his front leg(to the shoulder) in an accident 2 yrs. ago. He has gotten along well until this point but I observe him falling often and lying more and more. He is gaining weight (80 lbs.!!!) and is down to 1 cup of low calorie dog food twice daily and he seems to be hungry all the time. He is not getting around well at all and I am baffled as to what to do now. He is 9yrs old and a real happy, loving guy. But I don't want him to continue gaining and growing more inactive. Do you have any suggestions?
