The eyes of your feline friends have often been used on horror films. But if you are a pet owner, you will know that the cat’s stare is really the opposite of what’s being portrayed on films. That is why you have to know the importance of cat eye care.
I Love You
How do cats say these words? Through their eyes, of course. That is why you shouldn’t be frightened by that gaze. How does this work? First, the cat stares at you for a long while. And after that, it blinks its eyes slowly. Some people tag this as a cat’s kiss. But you can also say that this is your cat’s way of saying that it loves you.
But how do you return the favor? Easy, just follow your cat’s lead. Stare at it for a long time and then slowly blink your eyes. See? Cats’ eyes can also be used as elements for romantic films.
Not a Third Eye

There may be numerous reasons why you want to breed guinea pigs. One thing is certain, however. You should not breed guinea pigs in the hopes of getting rich for it. The truth is that there is very little money in breeding guinea pigs, and finding good homes for guinea pigs isn’t always easy.
However, if you have a very good reason for breeding guinea pigs, here are some guidelines to help you out.
Obviously, you need a male, known as a boar, and a female, known as a sow. A sow needs to be at least six months of age, and the boar needs to be at least four months old. It is possible for both sexes to mate before they reach this age, but it isn’t advised, because it has an affect on the health of the litter.
The male and female also need the opportunity to get to know each other properly. You need to put them in the same pen, preferably alone, for at least a month. Do not separate them until you are sure that the female is pregnant.

Kennel cough in canines is as common as head cold in humans. It is caused by a number of agents - viruses as well as bacteria. The most common agents that cause kennel cough are parainfuenza (viral) and bordetella bronchiseptica (bacterial).
Kennel cough is a respiratory infection of the bronchi and throat that causes a prolonged dry hoarse cough. The infection as such is neither serious nor painful to warrant panic but long spells of honking cough can be extremely frustrating for the owner and uncomfortable for the dog. Medically, kennel cough in dogs can potentially lead to weakening of the immune system and secondary infections like pneumonia.
Common symptoms of kennel cough include fever, listlessness, spasmodic and prolonged cough, lack of appetite and nasal or eye discharge. The severity of the infection determines the level of symptoms that are manifested. In most cases, your dog may behave normally with a dry cough as the only apparent symptom.

So, your ferret needs a little training? Unlike dogs, there is no obedience school for ferrets – but they are intelligent creatures, and they are very easy to train. This is something that you can easily do yourself with a little know-how and a lot of patience.
The first thing you will want to train your ferret to do is to use the litter box – obviously. Luckily, this is very easy to do, because ferrets have very specific bathroom habits. First, a ferret needs to relieve himself upon waking, and again after eating or drinking.
Second, when a ferret is about to do his business, he seeks out a corner – which is where you want to position the litter box. The ferret will back into the corner, as opposed to walking straight in it, so you will know what he is about to do. All you have to do is put the litter box in the corner he has chosen, or immediately pick him up – before he relieves himself – and carry him to the litter box. That’s all it really takes – and before long, he will know where he is supposed to go.

Bladder cancer in dogs is usually malignant and the most common type is transitional cell carcinoma (TCC). TCC is a cancer that originates in the bladder, kidney or ureters but the most common site for this type of cancer is the bladder. It arises in the transitional epithelium, the membranous tissue covering these organs.
The exact cause of TCC is not totally known but it is suspected that carcinogens that pass out through the urine lead to development of cancer in the lining of these organs. Since the carcinogens tend to be stored in the bladder along with urine, the bladder is the most affected organ.
Some drugs are also known to be metabolized by the liver to produce acrolein, a known human carcinogen. As acrolein is produced in the liver and passed out through the urine, it is also suspected to be one of the causes of urethra and liver cancer in dogs.

Owning and loving a cat requires more than including your furry friend on your monthly budget. You have to be an instant parent once you become involved. You have to know their basic needs and all there is to understand about cat health care.
First, in order for your feline companion to be happy and contented, you need to provide them a home. Yes, it can be left to wander about your own house and treat it like their kingdom. But you have to make sure that the surrounding is safe. Do not hang about things that would cause injury and further mishaps to your cats.
Second, make sure that your cat gets the necessary nutrition it needs. To do so, you have to give them only the best kind of cat food. The best will not necessarily mean expensive. You can ask your vet for recommendations given the amount that you can allot for this purpose.

There are a lot of great gifts that you can give to cat lovers, although photo frames are among the most popular. Photo frames are very affordable, and make a great gift for anyone who owns a cat or other pet. Those who own more than one cat will truly appreciate photo frames – as it gives them a chance to show off their pet. Cat lovers can also frame pictures of their pet for memories as well – and keep them forever and ever.
Before you give a cat lover a gift, you should take into consideration what type of cat the person owns. There are several breeds out there, including tabby, pure breeds, calico, Persian, and of course the infamous Siamese breeds. Someone may own several cats as well, which is why you should know a little bit about the breed or breeds someone owns before you get them a gift.

Spaying and neutering of dogs are highly wanted if you don’t want to breed the dogs and however, these activities need to be carried out by qualified veterinarians specialized in pet care and management. Anesthesia is required along with due surgical procedures for carrying out the spaying and neutering.
One has to understand first the terms like spaying or neutering. Both are related to the surgical approaches of sterilization in case of females and males respectively. However, the term neutering is also related to such procedures in both sexes. Accidental pregnancies that are not wanted can be highly minimized by these procedures.
Spaying and neutering helps to prevent occurrence of pyometra, which is a common reproductive disorder-giving problem to the dog owners. In male dogs, the neutering helps to prevent the occurrence of prostate enlargement or cancer. Hence, these help to minimize the incidences of reproductive disorders in dogs.

As one of the easier types of aquariums to construct, a freshwater fish tank is a great way to get started into the aquarium craze.
Certainly much easier to get functioning than other types of aquariums on the market (especially reef aquariums), freshwater is a great way to learn the basics of care and maintenance for a variety of fish and plants which will give you valuable experience which you can use later for larger and more impressive ecosystems.
Nevertheless, just because a freshwater aquarium is less expensive and less impressive than other types of fish tanks does not mean that it is inferior as you can actually do a few cool things different with a freshwater tank than you can with the saltwater varieties.
Perhaps the most important decision you will make about your aquarium is what size and style of tank you should purchase. Some of the experts recommend that you should always buy whatever tank you can afford provided it can fit in your home.

Kennel cough in dogs is a fairly common condition. It occurs when a dog comes in contact with or is near an infected dog. The most likely time when this can occur is when the dog has been kenneled for a period of time.
However, being kenneled is not the only manner in which dogs can contract kennel cough. Dogs may get infected even when they have not been recently boarded. This is because an infected dog can potentially pass on the infection to another by sneezing and coughing.
The most common viral agent that causes kennel cough is parainfluenza. The incubation period of the virus is three to four days. It is only after the incubation period that the dog shows any signs or symptoms of the infection. The duration of kennel cough in dogs is approximately six to ten days unless there is another bacterial agent that results in extending the normal period of the condition.
